Nóra Veszprémi joins College Art Association committee

CRAACE Research Fellow Nóra Veszprémi has been appointed as a member of the International Committee of the College Art Association.

As the preeminent international leadership organization in the visual arts, CAA promotes these arts and their understanding through advocacy, intellectual engagement, and a commitment to the diversity of practices and practitioners. Its International Committee seeks to foster an international community of artists, designers, scholars, and critics within CAA and to provide forums in which to exchange ideas and make connections. It aims to develop relationships between CAA and organizations with comparable goals and activities outside the United States, and it assists the CAA Board of Directors by identifying and recommending advocacy issues that cross national borders. The Committee organises a session at the CAA Annual Conference each year. Furthermore, it solicits articles on international news for publication in CAA News, and it also runs the CAA-Getty International Program, which brings between 15 and 20 international scholars each year to the CAA Annual Conference.

As an alumna of the CAA-Getty International Program, Nóra Veszprémi is looking forward to helping organise its future events, as well as to contributing to the Committee’s other activities.
